.net apps running out of memory on Vista and W7 PC's RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have been collecting system specs on the pc's that my vb.net apps are running out of memory on.

As you can see by the spreadsheet any pc that has a Dedicated System Memory of "0" runs out of memory.

This has never happened on XP, even a old laptop with only a 40 G hard drive.

Any ideas what i can do?

  • You should post this in the MSDN VB.NET Forums and post some code. Also try to use a memory profiler like DotTrace from Jetbrains to see where you leak memory.
