PXE dont load boot image


  • Hello,

    In our organization we have SCCM 2012 SP1 (no CU), and we like to deploy Windows Installations form SCCM. But we have a problem with load boot image when PC is booting form Network.

    This is our configuration:
    SCCM 2012 SP1 - was install not upgraded
    2 Partitions C: and D:
    RemotInstall catalog is on D partition

    Images was prepare with this guide:

    DHCP: 66 (IP SCCM Server), and 67 (smsboot\x64\ filed are added.

    And when we boot PC form network behavior is like this in screen:

    My observation is that RemotInstall catalog is share on SCCM server in this link:


    Some one can help.

  • No its work. Ihave dont thos steps.

    1. on DP I disbaled PXE

    2. Uninstall role of WDS

    3. Deleted RemotInstall folder

    4. Rebooted server

    5. Install WDS

    6. Manula configure WDS and remot install catalog

    7. Enable PXE on DP

    On SMSPXE i got error:

    failed to copy E:\RemoteInstall\SMSTempBootFiles\P0100005\WINDOWS\Boot\PXE\ to E:\RemoteInstall\SMSBoot\x64\ SMSPXE 11/13/2013 2:41:36 PM 5920 (0x1720)
    InstallBootFilesForImage failed. 0x80070003 SMSPXE 11/13/2013 2:41:36 PM 5920 (0x1720)

    8.On DP I recreated Boot Image packed

    9. And after pressing F12 i finally boot form proper Image
