Page Cannot be displayed RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We have a PPS dashboard in which we have imported a Proclarity report. We have published the report on to the SharePoint. We have enabled the Proclarity toolbar in the PPS dashboard. When we view the report on to the sharepoint , the report comes up but the toolbar is not getting displayed. It shows "Page Cannot be Displayed Error".

  • Hi Ram

This is a bug and can be resolved by applying a hotfix available here:

  • Hi Tim,

Thanks a lot for the reply. We have installed the hotfix. We are able to see the toolbar in the server when we access the sharepoint site. But when we access it from the client machine, we are facing the same problem. The proclarity report is coming up, but the toolbar is not showing. Please let us know if there are any solutions.

    Thanks.

    regards,
    Ram

  • Hi Ram

Apologies - I should have read your post properly in the 1st place!  It's probably pointing out the obvious, but it sounds as if it's some sort of security issue.  A few questions:

Are you logging on as the same user on both the client and server?

What happens if you access the report directly via PAS on the client?

Is PAS running on the same server as Sharepoint and PerformancePoint?

If yes to the previous are you running Kerberos security?

  • Hi Tim,

Thanks for the reply. Tim its a very strange problem that we are facing. We have a Proclarity bar chart that is imported into PPS dashboard and we have published it on the sharepoint. We have enabled the Proclarity toolbar for that report by altering the PAS link. Http://servername/PAS/en/src/proclarity.asp?uiConfig=tb;ht. We are able to see the Proclarity bar chart but we are not able to see the toolbar. The web professional icon that appears in the toolbar is not getting displayed.Even the client can see the Proclarity chart but not the toolbar. The report is coming up fine. PAS is on a different server. Sharepoint,PPS and SSAS is on one server. We have enabled basic authentication for PAS and we are able to see the report. We are logging as the same user on both machines.

    Thanks.
