  • I am having problems with my computer anytime I go on the internet I get a message bos that says it is from webp... in the box it has a yellow triangle with an exclimation mark (!) and the number 2 in the box and it pops up several times on every site and i can't get rid of it. Dsoes anyone know what I need to do to fix this problem? Pleas help

  • Sounds like an unintended bit of spyware code is causing it.
    Its just litteraly a pop up box with the icon in it and a number right? - Im sure ive seen that before.

    Have you tried running windows defender and seeing if it can find anything?
    You can download that from here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/defender/default.mspx

    If that doesent solve it try giving Spybot S&D a whirl, with it and windows defender installed you should be pretty spyware safe in future, make sure you enable the "imunise" option in spybot after it initially scans your machine.

    Spybot can be downloaded from here: http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html

     

    Both of these products are free and very good at what they do!

    Please try resetting IE to clear corrupt temp files:

    Internet Options->under Advanced tab->click Reset...

    You can install Microsoft Security Essentials as your safety guard.
