Import from favorites file RRS feed

  • I have dead XP machine.

    I have functioning HDD

    I can read and import files directly in explorer from old HDD to new machine C drive.

    I want to import this list as categorized into new IE 10.

    I can follow instructions up to the file list within my "favorite" file

    There is No tab to import, "open" rings error chime.

    If you can attach and read your old HDD...

    drag and drop the 'Favorites' folder.... it should ask if you want to replace the exiting 'Favorites' folder...

    Once you have done that open windows explorer and examine the file attributes of the Favorites folder.... turn on rr and it should propagate the sub folders.
