SharePoint online and Skype for business

Question
-
Hello,
I am fairly new to the SharePoint. I want to know if there is a way to connect to Skype for Business directly using the contact list information from SharePoint site.
I created a basic contact list with names, titles, emails and phone numbers. I want to be able to click on the phone number and call using Skype for Busienss.
Is it possible?
Thanks,
S

Hey there,
From the title, I am guessing you are using SharePoint Online, and Skype for Business through Office 365. If this is the case, you may want to post your question here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_sfb?auth=1, they may be able to give you a better answer.
I believe you can add Outlook contacts to Skype for Business, and if this is the case, yes, you can do this. In SharePoint online, when you create a contact list, you have the option to add this list to Outlook. Once it is in Outlook, you can add it to your Skype for Business contacts, and call them using Skype for Business. Instructions on how to add a contact list to Outlook from Sharepoint can be found here: https://www.premierpointsolutions.com/training/help-and-how-to-articles/sharepoint-connect-to-outlook/

Thanks.
