Word 2007 very, very slow when inserting photo into document RRS feed

    Recent new computer - Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Installed Office 2007. When trying to insert photo into a document, search is very, very, VERY slow. Any suggestions would be appreciated...

    Please check if you have mapped driver in your system, remove them if you find any, and check the issue again.

    Well, therein lies the problem. The drive that contains the photos is a network drive. The confusing part is that it works great with XP Pro and Office 2007, as well as Windows 7 Pro with Office 2003. Still have not found a resolution...
