Windows 10 lifecycle Retiring Support - Hard Dates RRS feed

  • Question

  • I work for a school district that is trying to plan ahead on when certain updates will need to be sent out district-wide for our Win10 machines.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13853/Windows-lifecycle-fact-sheet

I see there is a field for "end of mainstream support" column on this page, but I want to know when we we need certain feature upgrades installed if we want our machines to stay within Microsoft's update-safe window.

    Example:

    Win10 1507 - Support Retired May 9, 2017

    Win 10 version 1511 - Support Retired ????

    Win 10 version 1607 - Support Retired ????

    Win 10 version 1703 - Support Retired ????

    Thanks

  • The end of main stream support is Oct 13,2020 while end of extended support for Win 10 1703 is October 14, 2025.

I shall suggest you to wait till Microsoft releases any later version so that you can switch over to that version.
