Skype for business 2015 and lync attendee 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • In windows 7 platform, skype for business 2015 and lync attendee 2010 are installed. Both working fine individually, but when I tried to add plantronics wireless audio headset for call receiving purpose, while receiving call (have to press the call control button on headset), call hangs up for few seconds and then it drops automatically. (I did that in SfB 2015)

For the computer with only SFB installed, wireless headset works fine. Is it due to Lync attendee 2010 installed on the same computer ? I configured headset as default communication device on both SfB and Lync attendee. Any idea guys ?

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards,

  • This is a not supported Installation. Only one Version of the Client should be installed. Why do you want to use the attendedee?

  • Hi, yes for receptionist  Attendee would be better , yes you can uninstall SFB and check. Also try with some other audio output to check if that works.

  • Hi,

For the issued PC, it also be other issue.

If the issue still happen after uninstalling Lync Attendee, to avoid the effect of three party software, try to perform Clean Boot to test it.

  • Thank you.

It is provided for the reception staff in my office to get one page display of availability of other staff in the office. Shall I uninstall it for the headset audio system to work ?
