Authenticator no longer providing fingerprint prompt for authentication after reinstall on Android RRS feed

  • I recently had to reinstall the authenticator app onto my Android work profile. After setting up authentication again, whenever receiving a 2fa notification, I am only given the option to authenticate using my PIN, with fingerprint authentication not being shown as an option. Fingerprint unlock is enabled on my phone, but there is no option in the Authenticator settings to enable fingerprint auth. I can use my fingerprint to get into the app when the "app lock" option is turned on, but I still can't use it to approve authentication requests. Fingerprint authentication was working earlier today, prior to my reinstalling the app. I have tried reinstalling and re-registering the app multiple times since to no avail.
