Team-call member cannot answer through Edge server RRS feed

  • We have a user that has set up a team call forward on no answer.

    The members total 6 users.  5 users are located on premise, the 6th works from home connecting through the edge server.

    If one of the 5 on-premise users answers the call,  the call goes through as normal.

    If the home user (User6) answers the call, the caller gets the ringing stop but no audio, and the Skype for Business user client still rings. The call disappears from the other 5 users saying User6 has answered the call.
    The Monitoring server shows the call was answered by User6 (successfully), and yet has no diagnostic ID or information in the call at all.

    User 6 can answer calls directed at him, and can make standard calls without issue. His only issue is calls to a user with team call on. 

    Are there specific ports required on the Edge Server / Firewall to allow a Team call member to answer the call as a team call member?  Is it like a Park Orbit call requiring port  5075 like a call pickup group?  I can find nothing on the internet about this, but is frustrating our user(s) who rely on this functionality.  They choose this instead of a response group and are wanting a solution to this issue.

    Any help appreciated.

  • Hi Dean,

    Did you use Lync server 2013 or Skype for business server 2015?
    Did you update all server roles to the latest?

    To this issue, we suggest you re-run “Request, Install or Assign Certificates” using deploy wizard on Edge server, and check if there are any errors in application log on FE and Edge server.
