Exchange 2007, user mailbox full or exceeding limit RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a user whose mailbox reports as full, exceeding a 2GB limit by 60MB but all works. I cannot find what cases that message to show up. At some point she was added to a role with mailbox size limit but then that limit was removed after she started getting the message yet the message just won't go away.

    get-mailbox gives me:

I cannot spot anything that would be setting any limits on that mailbox. Can someone help please?

Answers

  • Which client is giving her that message? Outlook or OWA or both?

If just OUtlook, I would close Outlook, delete the associated .ost and re-open to recache the mailbox.
