    Hi, I have a Toshiba laptop running Business Windows Vista SP1, v.668 (WinNT 6.00.1905) with Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6001.17052). The machine came with RTM installed in Apr.

    SP1 RC1 has significantly reduce HD use and battery life better as a result. Network file copying also seems to have improved but it is still rather poort.

    On the downside, my laptop has a HW switch for the WLAN and SP1 sometimes freezes when I turn off the WLAN. Also, at home I use WLAN and have a wired lan at the office. When I plug into the 100baseT router at work, the laptop sometimes freezes but using a wired connection at home has not (yet) presented a problem.

    Another issue is that the machine sometimes will not boot in the morning if there is no WAN.

    In both cases, there are no errors generated, the machine just freezes and within a few minutes the laptop fan reves up to maximum. Power off is the only solution.
