Add Project Details Web Part works in Project Site but NOT when creating a Dashboard PDP in BI

  Hi, when I add a Project Details webpart in my project site, no problems with displaying it. When I trying adding the web part to a PDP in the Dashboard library in BI, I receive the following error: "Cannot communicate with the server. Verify your connection and try again."

  This happened after in the Edit Web Part section, I selected the project name and gave the exact detailed Project URL retrieved from going into the project via Project Center. I noticed the URL automatically entered in the Project Site is understandably simpler then what I entered. Of course when I tried simplifying the URL that didn't work either.

  I've ready some previous technet postings related to using HTTP vs HTTPS. This instance is configured to use HTTP.

  I do have custom fields in the schedule, but not yet in the view.

  Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!
