From the current log it typical caused by the following KB known issue, please first refer the following KB for the first troubleshooting shot.
Temporary connection-related errors may occur when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Update
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/836941
If all this scenario is not work, please confirm your IIS the website is configured correct, such as IP address, port number.
