Disable Ctrl Alt Delete Screen

Question
-
I have a VDI environment running which users access from a VMware View client on a physical machine. When a user is on their VDI machine and press Ctrl Alt Delete, the physical computer intercepts the key combo and brings up the Ctrl Alt Delete screen. I am trying to disable that screen completely in a group policy but cannot find anything on how to get rid of it.
I have already turned off the "Lock this computer", "Log off", "Change password", etc. Even with all these options removed from the screen, it still pops up with the only option being "Cancel". Also, I am not referencing the Ctrl Alt Delete screen before logon.
Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
The ctrl-alt-del can not be completely disabled, and in kiosk mode computer, the key combination ctrl-alt-del still has its functionality, here's a guide in Windows 8.1 (this guide is for Windows 8.1, this option is not available in windows 7)

Via GPO
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/remove-lock-option-from-ctrl-alt-delete/
Manually from user side
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308226/en-us
But I suggest you educate User to use ctr alt end instead of ctrl alt del, disabling ctrl alt del via registry or Control Userpasswords2 will be blocked user to go to physical computer, but its depend on your requirement tho

Thank you for your response, but this does not answer my question. I have already indicated that I removed the Lock Option from the Ctrl Alt Delete screen and the screen still appears when Ctrl Alt Delete is pressed. What I am faced with is when a user presses Ctrl Alt Delete, the typical blue screen pops up that asks if you want to go to Task Manager, etc. I have removed all the features of this screen and it literally just has the "Cancel" button left. I want to get rid of Ctrl Alt Delete activating this screen at all. I'm finding it hard to believe that an answer to this question is so hard to come by. Kiosk computers have this disabled so I know its possible.Monday, January 12, 2015 3:07 PM
