    How many users have this issue in your environment? Only one user or most users?

    About this issue, I suggest you could try to follow the steps below to fix it:
    1. Try to delete Lync 2010 cache in the PC, you could delete all the contents under the folder: %AppData% \Local\Microsoft\Communicator, also delete the key of user’s account under the Register: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Communicator.
    2. Try to check whether there’re any Tripartite software installed in the PC. In addition, check whether set some policies in the antivirus software which may cause this issue.
    3. Try to update the Lync 2010 client to the latest version, you could refer to the following link to download the Update:
