  • Hi semicodin,

I want to confirm that which version of your system? It seems that you are using IE8.

After my test, we may try to remove the favorites button by modifying registry.

Run “regedit” then open registry editor, navigate to:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbars\Restrictions]

    “NoCommandBar”=dword:00000001

This policy will help you hide the Favorite Button from IE Toolbar.

The value is a Dword NoCommandBar set to 1= Enable and 0=Disable.

Please be careful while working in the registry. Make sure you create a backup of Registry before you proceed.

    Best Regards,

    Tao
