32-Bit OS for Windows 10

    Question

  • Noted there's a 32-bit version of Windows 10, will Microsoft phase out 32-bit operating system? Hardware OEMs are also phasing out 32-bit driver support?

  • My guess :) Since Microsofts big mission with Windows 10 is to make it replace Windows 7, then Windows 10 also needs to support all the platforms where Windows 7 is installed, including 32 bit. There are still a need for 32 bit OS on lower end hardware and devices so don't expect to see the end of 32 bit OS this time.
