Security State Assessment update (1.0.1710.103) for Forefront Client Security RRS feed

  • Question

  • This morning I saw the announcement of the Security State Assessment update (1.0.1710.103) for Forefront Client Security. I followed the download link and downloaded the bits for my Windows 7 machine, fcssas-sig-full-x64.exe. Expanding it I checked the version of the update and it shows 1.0.1710.41. Shoudn't it be 1.0.1710.103?

  • Looks like we need to update the link in the article. To download, just do a search of the catalog or use this URL:

  • Thanks for the note Nick. I installed both the executables on my Windows 7 box. I checked the version of the bpacommon.dll and it's still showing 1.1710.41. Is there some other way to check the update?
