Sharepoint Service 3.0 SP2 Timestamps off by 1 hour RRS feed

  • Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

New VM, Win 2008 R2, Sharepoint Services 3.0 SP2 installed.  Pacific timezone, migrated site from old server (not sure this has anything to do with it)...

When someone uploads a document to the Shared Documents, the time stamp is 1 hour off but the clock on the server has the correct time.

Looking at other posts, this was an old issue back in 2008 or so...  Fixed in SP2.

Poking around the Sharepoint 3.0 Central Administration app I found Time Zone settings under “Application Management” and “Web Applications General Settings”..  It was blank.    Setting this to various time zones had no affect so I set it to Pacific and left it.

All service packs and Windows updates are installed.
