  • Question

  • Have a Sony HDR-PJ50 HandyCam. Connects to my server (Windows 8.1) no problem, but won't connect to my Samsung Laptop (Windows 7 Home Pro), get an error message saying driver not found and when it finds a driver it fails to load? Any assistance will be much appreciated.

    Kind regards, Lee

  • Please check with Sony for Windows 7 drivers and for any troubleshooting involved, its not something related to Windows 7.

  • Hi,

I agree with arnavsharma, it is recommended to contact the Sony support or view the manufacture website, looking for driver or updates for this model of HandyCam.

Where to download Windows USB driver for Handycam?

    http://www.sony.co.in/support/productcategory/cam+camcorder

    Support for Handycam® Video Camera

Try boot your computer into safe mode, then load the driver again.
