I have a complicated on the fly scenario where summeries must be broken first to leaf level members calculations -
which by themselves have quite a lot of logic -
before they can be aggregated upwards.
In worst case scenarios this would involve up to 10 milion leaves records which should be inspected and calculated
in order to establish summeries.
Is the tabular engine capable of dealing with such on the fly detailed calculations efficiently?
I remember the good old native ssas engine would not have liked it to say the list.
Are there some guide lines as to how far can the tabuar engine be challenged at low level calculations?
