Internet Explorer 7 to Internet Explorer 11 RRS feed

  • i have Inernet Explorer 7, want to update to Internet Explorer 11.  I have installed all the Windows 7 SP1 items i can find using Windows Download Manager. Please help me.

    Sorry... you don't have IE7... it won't install on Win7 machines (IE8 is the OEM version for that OS).

    Help>About internet explorer to find your currently installed version.

    Continue to cycle through the Windows update process.... usually a number of computer restarts will be required.... Ensure that your internet connection is reliable (and you stay connected between reboots).

    Don't use the Windows Download manager (from TechNet?)... Windows Update will offer browser version updates unless your system administrators (on your company network) have blocked automatic IE updates.

    Post consumer questions about IE to http://answers.microsoft.com (Help>Online Support menu from IE)... Include with your questions the FULL address of any websites you are having issues with.

    Download the update package and install it manually.
