Issue with S4B 2015 - Skype Federation RRS feed

  • Hi,

    When doing S4B 2015-Skype Federation, user gets a request on Skype if he is added by a S4B 2015 User but the other way round does not work i.e. S4B 2015 client does not show up any new request when the user is added by Skype account. Federation works fine but just the alert is not seen on the S4B 2015 client.

    Any clues on this to work.

    Would you please tell us did you try to clear your Lync cache files ?

    It is not by design, normally, you could see the new request in the SFB client, please refer to the following picture:

    Welcome to post in our forum.

    Since your federation works fine, so from my point of view, the issue is more related to SFB client side.

    Would you please tell us did the issue only appeared on the specific SFB client ?

    If so, please try to delete SFB cache files and test again.

    %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\sip_UserName@Domain.com

    Moreover, make sure your SFB client with the latest update.

  • I have tested this with different client installed with the latest update.

    This has been tested in a mixed as well as greenfiled deployment of skype for business 2015.

    Was just thinking ,maybe its by design that you don't get a request from the consumer skype to skype for business 2015.

  • Hello,

    If you go to the "NEW" Tab on the SfB Client did not show you the people contact that adds you?

    That the way is working for me, no notification but if I go to these tab, I can Add them as a contacts also.
