How to down grade windows xp service pack3 to windows xp service pack2

    Question

  • please let know my software requires windows xp service pack2  only.

    but software cd from which I  install xp has got sp3 so windows xp with sp3 is loaded.

    If the Service Pack 3 is slipstreamed in the Windows XP installation disc, there is no way to remove it: you have to install Windows XP using an installation disc having a lower update level (e.g.: Service Pack 2).

  • Your sp3 cd should have everything from sp2 already installed.  You should not need to downgrade.

    What software do you think requires sp2 but will not work with sp3?
