Disk co-location RRS feed

  • Question

  • A question about data co-location on disk.

When data co-location is enabled for protection groups, is the data co-located on disk from only the same protection group, or can data sources from different protection groups be co-located?

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

Data co-location allows you to have multiple data sources from same PG mapping on a single replica and recovery point volume.

  • Hi Stephane,

Thank you for the reply.  OK, so just to confirm, this only allows multiple data sources from the same protection group and not other protections groups, right?
