  • Hi.

    To move a VM withouth shared Storage, you must have Hyper-V Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 With the Hyper-V role installed.

    This willl leverage the live Storage migration feature and then perform a "normal" live migration to transfer the memory pages over the wire.

    However, this require also that the hosts are member of the domain and reachable on the network.

    You can also do an export/import but that would result in some downtime since the VMs must be Powered off prior to export.

  • This might be the wrong forum for this question.

    However to answer it:

    You will need to do an export of the VM move it over to the other host and do an import of that VM. This is the most mannual possible. All this can be done within Hyper-V manager. VMM can also do it, but it sounds like you don't have VMM in your environment if you want to do this manually.
