SfB - Mediation server Event ID code :25051 / No response from a Trunk to an OPTIONS reques RRS feed

  • Hi All,

       I am deploying a small site for EV using AudioCodes Mediant1000B gateway. 

    I have completed all configuration including  PSTN GW in topology builder, Trunk in Skype control panel, dial plan and GW configuration . We are using TCP Port 5068. Everything looks Ok but I am not seeing  OPTIONS request from Skype sever and getting following error in the events logs on Skype server. There are no firewalls in between and both systems can ping each other.

     Any pointers you can provide would be great as I am running out of ideas right now.

    There was no response from a Trunk to an OPTIONS request sent by the Mediation Server.

    The Trunk, 10.22.22.4;trunk=10.22.22.4, is not responding to an OPTIONS request sent by the Mediation Server service.

  • Hi Netgizmo,

    As Neeranjan mentioned, please check your certificate and make sure you have configured the correct FQDN on Audiocodes gateway.

    And here is a similar case got this error that used the wrong target principle name.

  • What method of connection you have configured between Mediation and Gateway.. 

    "ONLY TCP" or TLS ?

    If TLS, make sure you have valid certificate in Mediation and gateway (I mean certificate trust exists for each other)

  • Well, From the error i do see the Mediation server is sending the OPTIONS request to Gateway, however the gateway is not sending the 200 OK for it.. 

    Can you cross check the gateway configuration if the Skype for Business address/IP added in allowed trunk / proxy..
