A resource's timesheet remains empty RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

On two tasks running in parallel, I assigned 2 resources part time (50%)

When the first resource opens her timesheet, she can see her two assignments.

When the second resource opens her timesheet, it is always blank (except the Administrative times)

    - All the elementary tasks are Publish = Yes

    - The booking type of the resources is Committed

    - The tasks are not Blocked...

    Any idea?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

please don't ask why :). Tasks are displayed in /Tasks.aspx for assignment owner. But they are not displayed in timesheet.aspx for any user(!), if resource is not assignment owner.

My personal interpretation: timesheets are mainly focused for line managers, so working on someone's behalve is not designed in this context ....

    Barbara

  • Great!

You are right. The Assignment Owner is not the resource.

But another issue : the assignment does not appear in the Assignment Owner's timesheet. Where is it ?

    Thanks again
