Generics turning Inactive MS Project Server 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using MSP Server 2010, where in PWA resource center, active generics are turning inactive automatically. We only have 3 admins for the system, and none of us have touched these two accounts. Any idea on why they are inactivating?  Thank you.

  • We finally discovered that someone create a user account and then decided this was a mistake and went to the Resource Center and changed the account to generic.  In the meantime, our security department deactivated the user ID, which inactivated the resources.  The user ID was not visible in the account, until we toggle the generic off.  Mystery solved, but thank you for your input.

  • Do you have the generic account associate with a user login?
