POWER BI : Backgroud color change of an Image RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Friends,

In the power BI, can we change the background color of an image to the report page color?

Ex: I have uploaded one country flag with White background to Power BI desktop but my report page color is Black. Can we change this image background color from white to black to match to my page color? Is this possible in Power BI in any version please? If my report page background is white , this is looks good with STYLE setting as "NONE".

    Thanks in advance.

  • Power BI is a tool to model & present data, not to modify Images, so no, it's not possible.

Edit the Image in an Image tool like MS Paint to modify the background Image.

  • I'm not sure if MS Paint can create images with transparent backgrounds, but tools like paint.net, gimp or Adobe Photoshop can do this and you can then save the image as a gif or png format which both support transparencey.

  • Hi ,

    Thanks for sharing the information.

I just used the "NO BACKGROUND" images and this is working fine.
