Task Window never ends

Question

Hi
i have this problem since a few month and thought it will get fixed in R2
After the upgrade the problem is still there
If i run a task, the donut in window never stops and i never get an update with output. i have to close the window and click the task in the task state view to see its output.
Is there anywhere a solution to this problem?Thursday, July 9, 2009 11:47 AM

Might be this: http://www.technotesblog.com/conferences/operations-manager-scom-2007-task-wizard-never-completes/
Likely something to do with SQL account. Check the Application log and see if SQL is logging errors. If so then try changing SQL service account to a domain account with AD access or possibly local system.
Thanks,

Does this apply for all tasks? Even tasks that you create yourself?

The problem is, have 2 Management groups with different Management Servers. One is a new installation of R2 and the other one is updated form sp1 to r2, same rights for all accounts.
I have the problem only with the old installationFriday, July 10, 2009 7:20 AM
