Using Bit Locker Recovery Key won't unlock my drive RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was working on my Surface Pro 3 and went to restart it and I ended up getting a blue screen telling me to input my Bit Locker Recovery Key. Upon doing so and gaining access to the trouble shooting screen, I went under Reset This PC and choose Keep My Files. I was then prompted that "the drive where Windows is installed is locked. Unlock the drive and try again." The problem is - I've already unlocked the drive. I don't want to reformat my drive and loose all of my files and pictures. I don't understand why this occurred in the first place and it seems apparent that I am not the only one this happens too. I am running Windows 10 and have never had a problem with my Surface Pro. I just want to get it running again asap. Please help! - Michelle
