    Followed many sets of instructions for getting excel .csv file entries into Outlook 2013 address book. Nothing worked.

    Hi Mike,

    Before going further, could you please clarify what exact problem you have encountered when importing the .csv files then we can help you better?
    Are there any steps to reproduce the issue?
    Is there any error message?

    Generally, we can download and open a sample .csv file for importing contacts to Outlook:

    Create or edit .csv files to import into Outlook
