    Add a new IMAP account to Outlook (office Pro Plus 2016 Version 2002 (Build 12527.20278 Click-to-Run))

    Open an email in the main window

    'Create New' QuickSteps to add a new Task.

    Click on the quickstep.

    Error 'The Tasks folder cannot be found'

    Repeatable.

    Hi,

    According to my research, this may be a known limitation in Outlook. For your reference: 

    “The Calendar folder cannot be found” or “The Tasks folder cannot be found” error when you use Quick Steps in Outlook

    As a workaround, you can try the method below:

    Click the Move icon in the middle top section. Then you have the choice to select "Tasks". Then click and your email is converted(moved) to a task and deleted from the inbox. This procedure also works for moving emails to your calendar and  is very similar to using Quick Step.
