Odd printing of MS Project icons in PDF output, is it fixable? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all, I am using the latest version of MSP 2013 standard inside of latest Win 8.1, and I am getting strange results for icons in the PDF file. Icons preview fine, but are borked in the output. So I am wondering if there is a fix...See screenshots below:

  • Follow up: the problem appears to be my print driver that I am using (under print preview): PDF-XChange Printer 2012. I guess I should fiddle with that. But even using the native Export PDF from MS Project yields these ugly results, and there is no adjustment for printing that way:

  • I always use a separate View and table for printing. That way I can fine tune column widths and row heights and what columns are visible and the timescale etc so it prints how I want it each time then swap back to a different View to continue working. Saves a lot of time.

SO create a new Table and View and experiment with column widths and row heights.
