Windows Explorer crashes frequently . RRS feed

  • I have Windows 7 OS Version 6.1.7600 (Win7 RTM) on my laptop.The Windows explorer crashes frequently with the following error.Please help !<br>

Answers

  • Click Start=>type cmd in the search box, right-click cmd from the program results and select Run as administrator

    This opens an elevated command prompt

    Type sfc /scannow and tap enter

    This runs the  system file checker and it will find and repair any damaged system files.

    Be patient and let it sit and run. You'll see the cursor move when it's done.

  • Thanks for the reply Nano Warp .But that didn't help.Later on i realized that it was because of the bluetooth driver .I updated it and now it's not pestering me anymore !
