Group Policy Client service failed log on

Question
-
Hi
I have inherited in my job a Dell R710 server that acts as my domain controller with Server 2008 sp2. I had to reboot it this morning and now cannot log on getting the error Group Policy Client server failed log on - Access denied.
I do not have the local admin password but can log on in safe mode with networking using the domain admin username and password. However I cannot see the likes of the active directory as in safe mode.
Can anyone get me logged on

Hi
Remotely connect to server using \\serverIP\c $
Rename the profile on C:\users folder
Logon and you will be on temp profile . Just delete the profile key in registry.
Or install RSAT tool on any windows 7 PC and access you AD.
Make one user a domain Admin for temporary and then logon to sever and delete your profile folder.
Issue is due to your profile.
