     Unable to communicate other skype domains, giving this error "The action couldn’t be completed. Please try again later.", but able to communicate with our skype domain users

  • Are you running Skype for Business Online or server version?  If you're running your own server, do you have the Edge role deployed?  Can users connect from outside of your network?

    Agree with Anthony.

    If you use SFB on premise, edge server is required for external access. If don’t have an edge server, please refer to below document deploy it

    If you use SFB online, please refer to the link below to set up external communication

  • Dear All,

    We have FE server and edge server. We have checked and found that edge server not getting sync with FE server.

    we have allowed all required ports open on firewall and accessible from externally.

  • Can you confirm all services are running on your edge server and that you can connect via port 4443 on the front end to the Edge (you can use telnet client to test: telnet 192.168.4.4 4443 for example).
