Vista (RC2) hangs up when checking for computer performance RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everyone,
it's my first post, so please don't mind if i might have done something wrong (e.g. wrong forum). I downloaded vista rc2 2 days ago and burnt it on Dvd (1xSpeed). Today I've installed it several times but it won't work. It tells me to wait for a computer performance check after saving my new password, username etc. But after about 33% of the check it just hangs up and doesn't go further :(.
My computer is a lot better than a "vista capable pc", so the system requirements shouldn't be the problem. Also the "windows vista upgrade advisor" said that my pc was perfect for vista.
I appreciate your work here and hope that you could get out why vista won't work on my computer, possibly this question has already occured...
    Thank you :)
