Some problems with my PC RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I'm having some problems with my PC.

1st one is: I can't run songs on Windows Media Player, it says No such interface is supported...

2nd: When I'm trying to open downloaded files from Google Chrome it says chrome.exe as the title of the error message and the message itself is "Interface not registred".

3nd: I'm limited in doing some things when I enter Control Panel or when trying to type commands on Run and then work with them ex: When I click add/remove programs nothing happens and when I'm trying to make a new account, nothing happens, again.

4th: Computer > Properties won't work for me.

5th: Firewall can't be turned on or off.

I've tried countless times to fix my PC, delete the viruses, scan my PC with various Anti-virus programs including Malware Bytes Anti Malware, The Microsoft anti-virus, AVG etc. I've also tried to edit the registry files, I've did countless engine searches but no result yet except the Skype error. I only managed to fix the Index of/ Skype error, everything else is waiting to be fixed.

    Please help me. Thanks!

  • Hi,

According to your description, seems your Windows Installation is messed up. Please try to use Windows Restore to revert back to a previous point that is in working state. If no luck, try to run SFC/scan to check System Files Integrality.

  • I'm also sorry if this post is in the wrong forum, it's the first time I'm asking a question in the Microsoft forum.
