Access UAG Portral trunk from outside UAG servers RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dears,

I am building UAG for my domain, I have three VMs, a DC, and a UAG array ith two servers. The OS installed on all is Win2K8 R2 Ent. I created an HTTP trunk with public host name as "portal.ffpoc.com". I can browse the portal from inside the UAG servers with either the public host name or IP, but I cannot browse it from outside UAG servers, even from the DC itself. I suspect the issue with TMG installed with UAG so I created two access rules to allow all traffic from any source to the UAG servers (External to Internal) and vise versa but still the issue exist. Kindly any helop on this? and also, is it a must to use a public DNS?

  • UAG wont allow IP spoffing. Basicly it wont allow access from an Internal IP to its External IP address (on which u published UAG)
