  • Hi Rohan,

The project workspace template (also called the project site template) is the SharePoint site template used by Project Server for the site creation. When first publishing a project plan with PWA or Project Pro, you'll have the possibility to create a project site. In the server settings, you'll associate a project site template to each Enterprise Project Types (EPT). Depending on the EPT chosen while creating the project, you'll have a different project site.

Then please give more details when saying "project timesheet template". You'll find a project template (MPT file associated as well with EPT) but no timesheet template.

  • Project workspace is a SharePoint site associated with each Project plan if  you have selected to create one.

2010 onwards Project workspace is referred as Project site.

Here Is the TechNet blog on how to customize project site

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/brismith/archive/2010/03/15/customizing-the-project-site-in-project-server-2010.aspx

There is no such thing like project timesheet template , please provide more details, where do you see this option?
