  • Since upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1, user getting locked out couple times during the work day.

    Here is event log.

    We are in hybrid environment with Office 365.  Our exchange server is 2013

    An account failed to log on.

    There have been numerous reports of this. Until Microsoft manages to
    release a fix for this, you can try the following:

    1. In ADUC, open the properties for the account being locked out.
    2. Click the Account tab.
    3. In the Account options section, enable the check box for Do not
    require Kerberos preauthentication

    This seems to be resolving the problem for now. Make sure you keep track of
    users that you've made this change to in case Microsoft fixes this issue.
