Outlook Calendar Tracking Button is grayed out.

    Question

  • This button is not grayed out on my end and I am an Admin.

I think it's a permissions thing, but I don't know how to delegate the correct permission.

    Please Help

  • Hi TimStyFly420,

Based on your description, do you mean the Tracking button under Calendar Tools cannot work?

Does this issue only occur to a particular meeting or affect all meetings organized by this user?
What's the detailed version of your Outlook?

In addition, to narrow down if the issue is caused by any third party add-ins, please try to open Outlook in safe mode to check if the issue is caused by a problematic add-in. To do this, press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type outlook.exe /safe and press Enter.

Any updates, please feel free to let us know.

    Best regards,
    Yuki Sun

  • This only happens with certain meetings and the user can access other meetings. That's why I think it a permissions thing.

I have admin access and the meeting is not grayed out on my end.

We are using Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013.

    All update have been completed.

  • Hi Tim,

    Sorry for the delay.

Is "the user" the organizer of this meeting?
If possible, could you please share a image about the problem then we can do further analysis on this?

    Best regards,
    Yuki Sun
