Cross-Platform Functionality for the SCSM 2012 SP1 Portal RRS feed

    Notice the title does not say cross-platform support! I realize there's no support for viewing the SCSM portal on Safari and Firefox browsers for Macs, but I'm curious to know if anyone has successfully tweaked the browser so that the portal is usable from that platform?

    I have a client with 7,000 macs (and many more PCs) who would like to move to SCSM.  But the lack of cross-platform support is a showstopper right now.

    Officially unsupported by MS but managed to access the portal with the spec below:

    MAC OS 10.5.2

    Safari 3.0.4 (5523.15)

    Silverlight 5.1 (5.1.20125.0)
