Built in App-V client causes slow File Explorer in Windows 10 1709

Question
-
My customer is rolling out/upgrading to Windows 10 1709 and is experiencing a significantly long delay when launching the File Explorer. It can take between 25 s to 2 min until the File Explorer is launching.
Windows Performance Analyzer is showing that there is a specific App-V dll file that is locking the resources and seems to be causing the delay:
I disabled the App-V client in msconfig. Suddenly the problem disappeared. The file explorer took 1-2 s to open instead!
However, this is not a solution for the customer because of their heavy usage of App-V applications.
Has anyone experienced this issue? Any known solution?

Great! We have tested it and it looks promising!
Do you know when it will be released to WSUS? I cannot import it from Update Catalog because its not compatible with WSUS.
