    Hi,

I notice that there was a post before re: auto update and Sean answer this port on 27 March 2008.

I have another question regarding steady state and autoupdate.

Currently I have a server 2003 AD environment with steady state adm policy template installed.

I would like to know, if from the group policy we turn off the autoupdate service, will steady state follow this setting or should i then modify on each client machine and swithc off the steady state auto update?

    Thanks

Hi, if we disable Automatic Updates in Group Policy, we do not need to configure this setting in Windows SteadyState. It will not affect AU if we change settings in Schedule Software Updates in SteadyState.
