I am at Management Server Configuration, where I need to specify the active directory group or account that will be authorized to manage App-V, but when I enter any of my AD groups or user accounts, I recieve error "Active Directory information could
not be retrieved".
My AD server is on other PC than App-V Management Server. SQL server is on same PC where is App-V Management Server. I am working on App-V Management Server with local administrator permissions,but App-V Management Server is in same domain as AD server.
My only idea is,if I had installed SQL server on App-V Management Server PC as domain administrator and not as local admin,I could resolve this problem.Will try this tomorrow,if there will not be some other solutions suggested.
Any input is appreciated,since I am learning and new to this whole thing.
